That question came from years spent in creative work, movement, and study with plant medicines, and it's the one that wouldn't leave us alone. Most cacao is treated like a commodity crop. Ours isn't: single-origin from small family farms in the coastal tropical desert of Northern Peru, one of the rarest cacao-growing microclimates on earth. Processed at low temperatures to preserve its full potency, every purchase helps keep this rare growing tradition alive.
